Newark Gets First Hotel In 40 Years

     During this weeks blog the author writes about how Newark is getting the first hotel in over forty years. This is big news because travelers that would like to visit the city can spend but can't afford new york city hotel rates can spend the night in Newark which is cheaper and only a short train ride back to NYC. The author goes into depth about how Newark is run down and this hotel will bring much liveliness to the area. This relates to the hotel industry because this is a prime example of how beneficial a hotel is to an area. Newark plans to expand and hopefully put in a nearby run down bank into a new hotel which will be Hotel Indigo. The followers of this blog are very excited for the news. They are especially excited for the cheaper night stays in Newark instead of having to spend the big bills in NYC.

   In this blog the author talks about the city of Columbus, Ohio and all the neat features there are located around the city. This is helpful to the five best western hotels located in the metro part of the city that get much business from the wonderful cites. This week's article relates to the industry because when there is much activity to do around an area it brings in consumers that want to stay a long period of days possibly. This is a critical fact for any business or hotel.The more attractions there are to a city the more people come and visit. No followers commented on this blog but I find Columbus, Ohio to be a fascinating place after reading this article. The author did a great job engaging the reader and wanting them to visit the city.
