The Alex Hotel has interested me; just by looking at the blog home page it looks edgy, hip, and intriguing. The Alex Hotel is in the heart of Manhattan, and it is a upper class hotel with balconies and luxurious views of New York. I personally have always wanted to work and live in Manhattan and live where I can see all of Manhattan from my window, so I picked a hotel that was in the heart of Manhattan.

I picked the Luxury Travel blog because it showcases a variety of hotels in the hospitality industry. It ranges from Bed and Breakfast to Resorts. It shows its hotels in tropical, fun places, making each place seem exotic. I have a passion for traveling, so I find this an interesting blog to see other hotels other than the top brand hotels in the area. You also get great feedback from guest who have stayed in these hotels and can get a real feel for the hotel.
