I am picking the Four Seasons in Boston’s “Family Blog” because I see it as a very easy to read, descriptive, straight to the point blog in terms of a hotel industry. This week, the blog focuses on the parents insider guide to family travel. This simplicity is what originally attracted me to the blog. The blog updaters pick relevant topics. The target audience are parents, which is quite strategic.

The Regency Hotel’s Blog

I also picked the Regency Hotel’s blog because this is the hotel I’m doing my big project on. This week, the Regency Blog highlights its guest reviews. I particularly like the way that they don’t “screen” the blog posts, meaning they don’t take out the negative reviews and only keep the positive reviews. They leave the not so great reviews to show that the good reviews outweigh the bad, and keep it fair. The intended audience for this is the logical people looking at the blog. Logical people would pick up on the fact that it’s all good reviews and not trust the site.
