Week Two Posting - David Aranjo

Through its various cataloged posts, "The Holiday Inn Traveler" blog conveys various knowledge of the Holiday Inn brand hotels. A list of its archives are available on the side of the blog; this includes the title of each posting, giving the reader some background on each post. The purpose of this blog is to spread its knowledge about the various Holiday Inn locations as well as providing tips on how to get the most out of your stay at a Holiday Inn. Through the blog's various posts, it does meet its goal of providing travelers with a more stable knowledge on the Holiday Inn. Although this blog does not have a Twitter or Facebook feature, readers are able to submit their e-mail addresses in order to acquire more information. Although I do not believe the author is knowledgeable in the field of hospitality, I believe that they travel a lot, in turn, fueling their understanding of the Holiday Inn and its concepts.

The "Luxury Accommodations" blog offers a variety of postings on various luxury hotels around the world. This blog is set-up with a variety of pages in order for the audience to be able to navigate between specific characteristics such as the destination of hotels, featured hotels, and accommodation types. The purpose of this blog is to showcase the qualities of numerous hotels around the world. Through the blog's various posts and pictures, the audience is able to capture the beauty of these luxurious accommodations. As well as having a blog, a Twitter was also created in order to showcase these hotels. Through the use of Twitter, the blog is able to update their audience through both the blog and tweets. Although the author does not necessarily claim any knowledge of the industry, they convey their passion for their favorite hotel architecture as well as their love of travel.
