Week 3- Kaeleigh Cranney

This week in the Carlton Hotel Groups they hosted the Rose of Tralee an event they host every year. They kicked off the weekend with the Rose Ball in an their event space called the Dome, the blogger said the entertainment was brilliant and the event gets better and better every year. The event was held at the hotel the next day, to crown one of the contestants, almost like a beauty pageant. It was a busy weekend at the hotel to say the least, with all the festivities.

This week at the Hawthorne Hotel they had an employee open house, which I found interesting. Management wanted to touch base with the employees of all the changes that have happened to the hotel over the past year. They also had guest tours for employees of newly renovated rooms especially for some employees that never make it up to the guest rooms. I think this was good for the management to connect with employees and keep in touch with them so everyone is on the same page.
